In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Newport Tigers softball team scored a close 6-4 win over the Bow Falcons.

Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 17. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record.

The Falcons (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Oyster River (Durham, NH). The Bobcats enter the Division II outing with a 0-0 record.
