Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Greenwood Gators (Bowling Green, KY) and the visiting Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY), witnessed Greenwood's softball squad tip Boyle County by a count of 5-2.

The Gators now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Warren Central for a District 14 match on Thursday, April 13. Greenwood will face a Dragons squad coming off a 22-4 non-league loss to Hart County (Munfordville, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Boyle County moves to 2-5 on the season. The Rebels travel to Danville (Danville, KY) to face the Admirals in a District 45 match on Tuesday, April 11. The Admirals go into the match with a record of 1-6. Danville lost 15-3 in their recent league match against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY)
