De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Meteors now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to The First Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11.

With the loss, Bremen falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Braves host Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL) to battle the Hawks in a South Suburban - Blue challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Hillcrest lost 15-2 in their recent league challenge against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL)
