The Burgin Bulldogs softball team scored 27 runs and limited the host Ludlow Panthers to 8 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Burgin improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs host Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 11. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 5-2. Campbellsville lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Raceland (Raceland, KY)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 10. Ludlow will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 12-11 league win over Eminence (Eminence, KY).
