Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wayne Pioneers (Wayne, WV), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Man for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. Chapmanville Regional will battle a Hillbillies squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Williamstown (Williamstown, WV). The Hillbillies record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Wayne falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Poca (Poca, WV) to battle the The Dots in a Cardinal challenge on Monday, April 10. The The Dots enter the challenge with a record of 3-8. Poca won 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY)
