Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Woodland Warriors (Streator, IL) and the visiting Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL), witnessed Woodland's softball squad prevail over Clifton Central by a count of 10-0.

The Warriors now sport a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Lowpoint-Washburn for a Tri-County match on Tuesday, April 11. Woodland will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Stark County (Toulon, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Clifton Central moves to 5-4 on the season. The Comets host Grace Christian Academy (Kankakee, IL) to face the Crusaders in a River Valley match on Monday, April 10. The Crusaders go into the match with a record of 1-3. Grace Christian Academy lost 14-0 in their recent league match against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL)
