The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the McCutcheon Mavericks (Lafayette, IN) and the visiting Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN), saw McCutcheon's softball squad achieve victory over Clinton Prairie by a count of 22-0.

The Mavericks now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison for a North Central match on Tuesday, April 11. McCutcheon will face a Raiders squad coming off a 25-4 non-league win over Portage (Portage, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Clinton Prairie falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Gophers host Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Monday, April 10. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-3. Faith Christian lost 10-7 in their recent non-league match against Lafayette Jefferson (Lafayette, IN)
