Pennsylvania High School Softball - Saegertown gets by Conneaut Area

The Saegertown Panthers got by the host Conneaut Area Eagles softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA). The Orioles go into the District 10 Region 2 battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Rocky Grove was edged by Iroquois (Erie, PA), 7-2, in a league battle.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Erie for a District 10 Region 5 battle on Tuesday, April 11. Conneaut Area will confront a Royals squad coming off a 17-2 non-league loss to Meadville (Meadville, PA). The Royals record now stands at 0-3.
