The Cougars now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Robinson for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. Farina South Central will battle a Maroons squad coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Paris (Paris, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, New Athens falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Columbia (Columbia, IL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Columbia lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Belleville East (Belleville, IL)
