South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD), 15-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Francis Scott Key for a Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake challenge on Monday, April 17.

With the loss, Glenelg falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to River Hill (Clarksville, MD) to face the Hawks in a Howard County challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
