The Hazel Green Trojans softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Karns Beavers to 1 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Hazel Green moves its record to 17-11 on the year. The Trojans host Ardmore (Ardmore, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, April 10. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 16-9. Ardmore won 4-1 in their recent non-league game against Meade County (Brandenburg, KY)

In their next game, the Beavers play the Knoxville Central Bobcats (Knoxville, TN) in a 4A District 3 game, on Tuesday, April 11. Karns will attempt to move on its 18-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the game with a 13-6 record after their 5-4 league win over Powell (Powell, TN).
