The Kirtland Hornets softball team (Kirtland, OH), was routed 17-5 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH)

Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) in a Northeast Eight Athletic test, on Monday, April 10. Jefferson Area will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 6-1 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, OH).

The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record.
