Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Dragons now sport a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlestown for a Mid-Southern challenge on Monday, April 10. Silver Creek will face a Pirates squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Corydon Central (Corydon, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Mercer County falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Woodford County won 13-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY)
