Woodmore Wildcats (Elmore, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Port Clinton Redskins (Port Clinton, OH), 14-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Otsego for a Northern Buckeye challenge on Monday, April 10. Woodmore will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-4 league win over Genoa Area (Genoa, OH). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Port Clinton falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH) to face the Rockets in a Sandusky Bay - Bay challenge on Monday, April 10. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 7-1. Oak Harbor won 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake (Millbury, OH)
