The Ritchie County Rebels the visiting Shady Spring Tigers softball squad by a count of 5-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Rebels (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Nicholas County (Summersville, WV). The Grizzlies go into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Nicholas County was routed by Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV), 7-5, in a league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to George Washington for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 13.
