With the win, Steele upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH) to battle the Shoremen in a Southwestern test on Tuesday, April 9. The Shoremen come into the test with a record of 2-1. Avon Lake lost 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Woodford County (Versailles, KY)

The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-4. Strongsville won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Jackson (Massillon, OH)
