In Monday's league game, the visiting St. Mary's Spartans baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Archbishop Williams Bishops.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA). The Crusaders go into the Catholic Central - Large game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Bishop Fenwick was overwhelmed by Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA), 8-3, in a non-league game.
The Bishops (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Middleborough (Middleborough, MA). The Sachems go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record.
