California High School Baseball - Esperanza loses to Capistrano Valley

In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Capistrano Valley Cougars baseball team scored a tight 11-5 victory over the Esperanza Aztecs.
The Cougars (7-11) will now prepare for their game against Santiago (Corona, CA). The Sharks go into the non-league game with a 10-10 record. In their last game, Santiago tipped Barstow (Barstow, CA), 9-1, in a non-league game.
The Aztecs (8-12) will now prepare for their game against Canyon (Anaheim, CA). The Comanches go into the North Hills game with a 9-11 record. In their last game, Canyon was overwhelmed by Marina (Huntington Beach, CA), 7-6, in a non-league game.
