The North Greene Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Carrollton Hawks to 7 in the Spartans league victory on Monday.
The Spartans (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Calvary (Springfield, IL). The Saints go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
The Hawks (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Routt Catholic (Jacksonville, IL). The Rockets go into the Western Illinois Valley - South match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, Routt Catholic was overwhelmed by Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 3-2, in a non-league match.
