In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Grant Tigers baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the Cedar Springs Red Hawks.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Morley Stanwood (Morley, MI). The Mohawks go into the Central State game with a 0-0 record.
The Red Hawks (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Thornapple Kellogg was overwhelmed by Caledonia (Caledonia, MI), 11-0, in a non-league game.
