With the win, Covenant Christian Academy upgrades its record to 24-4 on the season. The Lions host Jeanerette (Jeanerette, LA) to battle the Tigers in a 1A District 7 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-13. Jeanerette lost 19-0 in their recent league test against Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA)

With the defeat, South Lafourche falls to 10-17 on the season. The Tarpons travel to A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA) to battle the Patriots in a 4A District 7 test on Tuesday, April 9. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 9-15. A.J. Ellender won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA)
