With the win, South Plaquemines upgrades its record to 7-10 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Chalmette (Chalmette, LA) to battle the Owls in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 23-5. Chalmette won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against South Terrebonne (Bourg, LA)
