The Griffin Bears got by the visiting Towers Titans baseball team by a count of 1-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 9-11 record. They take the field next when they host Westside for a 4A Area 2 bout on Tuesday, April 9. Griffin will face a Seminoles team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Northeast (Macon, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 0-15.
Next, the Titans face the Columbia Eagles (Decatur, GA) in a 2A Area 5 bout, on Wednesday, April 17. Towers will attempt to move on its 0-15 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-12 record after their 1-0 league loss to Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA).
