The High Point Central Bison baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Lexington Yellowjackets to 1 in the Bison non-league victory on Monday.
The Bison (1-11) will now prepare for their match against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles go into the Mid-State 3A match with a 0-9 record. In their last match, Ben L. Smith was overwhelmed by Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC), 16-1, in a league match.
The Yellowjackets (0-9) will now prepare for their match against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets go into the Central Carolina 1A/2A match with a 4-9 record. In their last match, Salisbury was overwhelmed by East Davidson (Thomasville, NC), 12-2, in a league match.
