The Kennedy Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Morris Jeff Pelicans to 10 in the Cougars league victory on Monday.
The Cougars (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Livingston Collegiate Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Wolves go into the 3A District 9 match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Livingston Collegiate Academy was edged by Wright (New Orleans, LA), 24-14, in a league match.
The Pelicans (1-9) will now prepare for their match against Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA). The Tigers go into the 3A District 9 match with a 9-11 record. In their last match, Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy was edged by Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 7-2, in a league match.
