The St. Thomas More Sabers baseball team (Champaign, IL), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Monday's league outing with the host Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL)
The Sages now hold a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mattoon for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 9. Monticello will confront a Greenwave team coming off a 17-5 non-league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, TN). The Greenwave record now stands at 9-4.
Next, the Sabers confront the Westville Tigers (Westville, IL) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 10. St. Thomas More will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 10-3 record after their 11-0 league win over Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman (Georgetown, IL).
