The New Franklin Bulldogs baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Smithton Tigers to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Russellville (Russellville, MO). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 4-8 record. In their last match, Russellville was overwhelmed by Fatima (Westphalia, MO), 9-0, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their match against La Monte (La Monte, MO). The Vikings go into the non-league match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, La Monte was overwhelmed by Stover (Stover, MO), 17-2, in a non-league match.
