The Pilot Grove Tigers baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the visiting Sweet Springs Greyhounds to 9 in the Tigers non-league victory on Monday.

The Tigers (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Jamestown (Jamestown, MO). The go into the Class 1 District 9 match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Jamestown was overwhelmed by California (California, MO), 10-0, in a non-league match.

The Greyhounds (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Concordia (Concordia, MO). The Fighting Orioles go into the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Concordia gained a win over Slater (Slater, MO), 15-7, in a non-league match.
