The Liberty Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Central Regional Golden Eagles to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.

The Lions now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinelands Regional for a Shore - B South game on Tuesday, April 9. Liberty will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 league win over Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.

The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Toms River South (Toms River, NJ). The Indians enter the Shore - A South game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Toms River South gained a win over Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league game.
