In Monday's non-league test, the host Lewis Mills Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Watertown Indians.
The Spartans now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stonington for a non-league test on Thursday, April 11. Lewis Mills will face a Bears squad coming off a 21-9 league win over Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Bears record now stands at 3-0.
In their next game, the Indians face the Wolcott Eagles (Wolcott, CT) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 9. Watertown will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
