The Chopticon Braves softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Calvert Cavaliers to 1 in the Braves league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Chopticon improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Braves travel to Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD) to clash with the Cougars in a Southern Maryland game on Tuesday, April 9. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 0-3. Thomas Stone lost 15-3 in their recent league game against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD)

In their next game, the Cavaliers clash with the La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD) in a Southern Maryland game, on Wednesday, April 10. Calvert will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 8-1 league win over McDonough (Pomfret, MD).
