The River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats softball team (Hanover, IL), was routed 22-7 in Monday's non-league test with the visiting Dakota Indians (Dakota, IL)

Coming up next, the Indians encounter the Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - North test, on Tuesday, April 9. Dakota will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 4-1 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL).

The Wildcats (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Fulton (Fulton, IL). The Steamers come into the NUIC West test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Fulton overcame Mercer County (Aledo, IL), 5-4, in a non-league test.
