With the triumph, El Cajon Valley moves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Braves travel to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to clash with the Matadors in a Grossmont Valley game on Tuesday, April 9. The Matadors come into the game with a record of 6-6. Mount Miguel lost 22-8 in their recent non-league game against Montgomery (San Diego, CA)

In their next game, the Komets clash with the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) in a City Central game, on Tuesday, April 9. Kearny will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the game with a 1-11 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA).
