Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ), 15-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Stampede now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host McClintock for a 5A Metro challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Fairfax will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 7-3 league loss to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Chargers record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Washington falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Rams host Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ) to battle the Aztecs in a 5A Central Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Aztecs enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. Copper Canyon lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Kofa (Yuma, AZ)
