The Henry-Senachwine Mallards softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Galva Wildcats to 0 in the Mallards non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Henry-Senachwine moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Mallards host Midland (Varna, IL) to clash with the Timberwolves in a Tri-County game on Tuesday, April 9. The Timberwolves come into the game with a record of 1-7.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans (Woodhull, IL) in a Lincoln Trail game, on Tuesday, April 9. Galva will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Spartans go into the battle with a 8-0 record after their 11-0 league win over Princeville (Princeville, IL).
