Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Roadrunners now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Francis for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Nazareth Academy will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Hinsdale South falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to battle the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Hilltoppers enter the challenge with a record of 4-4. Glenbard West lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Park (Roselle, IL)
