The Senators now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a Central State Eight match on Tuesday, April 9. Springfield will face a Railsplitters squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Railsplitters record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Jacksonville falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Crimsons travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to face the Titans in a Central State Eight match on Tuesday, April 9. The Titans enter the match with a record of 9-0. Glenwood won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Monticello (Monticello, IL)
