The Mohave Thunderbirds softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Peoria Panthers to 0 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Mohave improves its record to 6-14 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Cortez (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Colts in a non-league game on Thursday, April 11. The Colts come into the game with a record of 3-12. Cortez won 29-6 in their recent league game against Dysart (El Mirage, AZ)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) in a 4A West Valley game, on Tuesday, April 9. Peoria will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Owls come into the game with a 2-11 record after their 9-6 league win over Peoria (Peoria, AZ).
