The Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL) softball routed the host Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL), 13-4 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Blue Devils (14-12) will now prepare for their bout against St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Fighting Saints go into the 5A Area 9 bout with a 6-13 record. In their last bout, St. Clair County was routed by Homewood (Homewood, AL), 6-5, in a non-league bout.
The Yellow Jackets now possess a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Pell City for a 6A Area 12 bout on Tuesday, April 9. Oxford will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 21-11.
