The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 1-8. Wayne County lost 13-4 in their recent non-league contest against Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY)

In their next game, the Colonels play the South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) in a District 50 contest, on Thursday, April 11. Whitley County will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Corbin (Corbin, KY).
