The West Rowan Falcons softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host South Iredell Vikings to 1 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, West Rowan moves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to play the Vikings in a South Piedmont 3A game on Tuesday, April 9. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 11-3. Central Cabarrus won 17-3 in their recent league game against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)

In their next game, the Vikings play the Cox Mill Chargers (Concord, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A game, on Wednesday, April 10. South Iredell will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Chargers come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 15-5 league win over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC).
