In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX), by a tally of 13-0.
Next up, the Eagles encounter the Wall Hawks (Wall, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 11. Abilene will attempt to upgrade on its 16-8 season record. The Hawks enter the bout with a 20-3 record after their 13-2 league win over Clyde (Clyde, TX).
The Plainsmen (5-20) will now prepare for their bout against Amarillo (Amarillo, TX). The Sandies enter the 5A Region I District 3 bout with a 18-8 record. In their last bout, Amarillo overcame Tascosa (Amarillo, TX), 15-2, in a league bout.
