The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) and the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), saw Gonzaga's baseball team gain a win over Archbishop Carroll by a tally of 24-0.

The Eagles (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Stags go into the Washington Catholic challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, DeMatha thwarted Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD), 7-0, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Archbishop Carroll drops to 0-10 on the year. The Lions host Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to clash with the Cardinals in a Washington Catholic challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 2-13. Bishop Ireton lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD)
