The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) baseball trounced the visiting Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 11-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's Ryken for a Washington Catholic challenge on Thursday, April 10. Our Lady of Good Counsel will clash with a Knights team coming off a 5-3 league loss to DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.

With the defeat, Bishop Ireton drops to 2-13 on the year. The Cardinals host St. John's (Washington, DC) to clash with the Cadets in a Washington Catholic challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Cadets go into the challenge with a record of 15-1. St. John's won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA)
