The Cubs (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Elbert (Elbert, CO). The Bulldogs enter the 1A District 2 battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Elbert defeated Kiowa (Kiowa, CO), 8-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Custer County Bobcats (Westcliffe, CO) in a 1A District 2 battle, on Friday, April 11. Cotopaxi will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 12-8 non-league win over Hoehne (Hoehne, CO).
