The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Downingtown West Whippets (Downingtown, PA) and the visiting Kennett Blue Demons (Kennett Square, PA), saw Downingtown West's baseball team gain a win over Kennett by a tally of 16-1.

The Whippets (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Red Devils enter the Ches-Mont battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Avon Grove was overwhelmed by Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA), 9-3, in a league test.

With the defeat, Kennett drops to 2-6 on the year. The Blue demons travel to Sun Valley (Aston, PA) to clash with the Vanguards in a Ches-Mont test on Wednesday, April 9. The Vanguards go into the test with a record of 0-5. Sun Valley lost 9-2 in their recent league test against Great Valley (Malvern, PA)
