The Downsville Demons baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Union Parish Farmers to 8 in the Demons non-league win on Tuesday.
The Demons now own a 14-11 record. They take the field next when they host Choudrant for a B District 2 test on Thursday, April 10. Downsville will clash with a Aggies team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Red River (Coushatta, LA). The Aggies record now stands at 10-14.
With the defeat, Union Parish drops to 6-12 on the year. The Farmers host D'Arbonne Woods (Farmerville, LA) to clash with the in a 2A District 1 test on Thursday, April 10. The go into the test with a record of 14-14. D'Arbonne Woods won 9-4 in their recent non-league test against Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA)
