The South Lake Eagles baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Dr. Phillips Panthers to 3 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now hold a 11-11 record. They take the field next when they host Tavares for a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. South Lake will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-6 non-league win over First Academy (Leesburg, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-12.
With the defeat, Dr. Phillips drops to 9-15 on the year. The Panthers travel to Oviedo (Oviedo, FL) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 9. The Lions go into the test with a record of 8-15. Oviedo won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL)
