In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Tupelo Tigers baseball team scored a close 9-8 victory over the Kiowa Cowboys.
The Tigers (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Valliant (Valliant, OK). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 14-10 record. In their last game, Valliant held off Kingston (Kingston, OK), 12-3, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cowboys face the Smithville Braves (Smithville, OK) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 10. Kiowa will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record.
