In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Lakeland Vikings (Deepwater, MO) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Lincoln Cardinals (Lincoln, MO), by a tally of 7-0.
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Fordland Eagles (Fordland, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. Lakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 6-2 record after their 18-3 non-league win over Bradleyville (Bradleyville, MO).
The Cardinals (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Skyline (Urbana, MO). The Tigers enter the Class 2 District 13 bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Skyline was overwhelmed by Miller (Miller, MO), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
